Description

An original painting by renowned Australian artist Margaret Benoit. The painting has been generously donated by the artist herself to the LEARN Foundation for Autism to help Leap-frog Autism.

"Symbolic meaning of the frog deals with curative magic, transformation,
creativity and cleansing. The simple green frog in my painting is out of
water, sitting high and ready to leap into the spirit of joy and well being.
His friend, underwater is viewing the other life which allows diversity and
acceptance of his own personal lifestyle."

close to 40 children with autism and their families.
Close to 350 children are diagnosed with autism per year in WA, making it the most common childhood disability. Autism used to be regarded as an incurable, lifelong disability, however in the past 20 years it has been shown that intensive early intervention, like that provided by LEARN, can result in dramatic improvement in the quality of a child's life.
