LEARN Foundation for Autism
The LEARN Foundation for Autism is a not for profit organisation providing evidence based therapies to young children with autism. The centre in East Fremantle provides services to
close to 40 children with autism and their families.
Close to 350 children are diagnosed with autism per year in WA, making it the most common childhood disability. Autism used to be regarded as an incurable, lifelong disability, however in the past 20 years it has been shown that intensive early intervention, like that provided by LEARN, can result in dramatic improvement in the quality of a child's life.
