The Kim Walters Choices Program (Choices) is a free community support program for women, men and their families undergoing breast or gynaecological cancer. The program provides practical support, sharing, information, breast care nurse, ward visits, exercise, relaxation programs designed to aid post-operative recovery and coping with adjuvant therapies, peer-support, complementary therapies, individual counselling and drop-in centres. Groups are offered for partners, younger women, and women with secondary breast cancer. Choices is a free service, funded and supported entirely through the generosity of the community receiving no government funding or funding from other cancer organisations.
